When you see the phrase, “I Know You’ve Overcome It All”, what is the first thing that comes to mind? Today’s episode features another special guest, Worship Pastor and Pastor Jonathan Lee, seasoned song writer, husband, father, and lover of Christ.
Join us on Jonathan’s journey through seasons of immense extremes; great joys accompanied with great losses, exciting highs mingled with intense lows. But through it all, he has trusted in God, and believed what John 16:33 says, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Fear can be downright crippling-spiritually, mentally, and most definitely physically. Fear causes us to act irrationally, make poor choices, and hurt the people who love us the most. In this special impromptu episode, I share my personal story of:
- How fear developed in my life
- Why I thought literally hiding (Yes, I really mean it-I hid) would be the best option
- When the fear came to a breaking point
- Why there is never any shame in dealing with fear
- How I overcame and conquered my fears (*Note-I didn’t do it alone)
- When fear comes, the Ultimate Weapons to face it head on and destroy it PERMANENTLY!!
- How conquering fear, didn’t only give me the victory, but my family too!!
My family-Husband Dave, Daughter Gabrielle (12) and Daughter Evangeline (5)

If you feel like you don’t fit in or you know someone who feels like that, this is the perfect episode to listen to!!
Philip Shorey comes from a 4-generation family of unique international puppeteer evangelists, who used the art of marionette to spread the gospel of Jesus around the world. He is a seasoned musical composer and the founder of Suitcase Sideshow-which is a fringe theater that brings a message of hope to the far corners of the world and the author of Kill Your Art-a book based on how to surrender your art to God to be used in a ministry context.
Philip is also the director of the Minnesota base of Steiger International (www.steiger.org), a worldwide mission organization that is called to reach and disciple the Global Youth Culture for Jesus. In his teen years he walked away from God, bored of the family ministry, and pursued his dreams of rock and roll. God called him back, he met his lovely wife, Sari, and the rest is history. You will be intrigued as Philip shares his unique life story and how doors have opened in the most unusual places for Suitcase Sideshow to minister all over the world. The ministry that God does through Philip and his family is a prime example of Luke 10:2-“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers in his harvest field.”

John 12:24-25-“Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life.”Post Views: 404

I’m so excited to bring you this impromptu episode, sharing about what God has done in my life in the month of July, including an amazing mission trip to the Pine Ridge Native American Reservation in South Dakota & Rosebud Native American Reservation in Nebraska with Heart Of The City Ministry.
I also speak about the opportunity I had to lead worship with Elisha St. James ministry at Miracles Happen Festival in Stewartville, MN, where we opened for Danny Gokey (American Idol-2009), followed by a leading worship for the beautiful congregation of Lighthouse Christian Church in Rosemount, MN. I was able to share the miracle story of Dave and my youngest daughter, Evangeline, during a beautiful time of ministry.
The weekend ended with my band, Seed, auditioning for our State Fair Talent Show contest, in which we’re hoping to hear great news as we continue to do spiritual warfare through our music!
You don’t want to miss this episode, as I speak about God’s restoration and miracle-working power! Blessings!!Post Views: 223
